Hose no Hose?

Going without hose to a professional job interview, is incomplete dress.  It would be the same for a man going without socks.  If dress is professional it doesn’t matter what industry or part of the country the interview is held.  Bare legs is not professional.

It shows lack of preparation and you didn’t do your homework.  Show respect for the company and job, it is better to overdressed than under.  You are there for the interest of the company and fill the job opening.  Don’t get eliminated for taking a short cut.

There are no second chances making a first impression.  You are there to get hired, not to make a personal statement.

I get women who seek my advise after getting passed over on executive and management jobs they really wanted.  My consultations help acquire proper attire for professional job interviews.  Part of the discussions was overcoming the issue of not wearing hose.

I understand the preference, once I helped my clients understand the importance, they dressed accordingly.  A polished professional statement does consist of incomplete dress.
